Wonderweiss was born mentally impaired. He has an innocent mind, and he has difficulty understanding things. He has a bit of trouble with memory, not always retaining recent events and having difficulty recalling previous ones. His attention easily wanders, and he finds paying attention to a conversation difficult if it isn't interesting to him. Similarly, unless one can explain something to him in a way he finds interesting, teaching him anything is difficult. He can speak, but his sentences are short and he has difficulty with larger words. He also has a bit of a stutter.
Wonderweiss is a kind boy most of the time, though he will sometimes lash out with or without a reason. He doesn't really think of things on a moral standpoint. He doesn't always realize when something is inappropriate or wrong. It is easy for those he allows near him to convince him to do something if it's worded to sound appealing to him or a reward of his choice is offered.
Wonderweiss is excellent at reading people, though his comprehension of what he sees is very limited. Mainly, he notices whether or not a person has ill intent or is dangerous. He can be picky about the people he allows near him and those he likes, maintaining distance or blocking/hindering their approach to someone he likes.
